Public officials Election And Recall Act Article 98
Whoever commits any of the following acts of violence or coercion, or whoever uses other illegal means, shall be sentenced to a fixed term of imprisonment of not more than five years:1. Hindering the campaign of another candidate or compelling them to abandon their campaign2. Hindering others who raise or sign a joint-signature petition for a recall proposal, or compelling others to raise a recall proposal or sign a joint-signature petition for a recall proposalAny attempt to commit any offense specified in the preceding paragraph shall also be punished.
中文原文 公職人員選舉罷免法第98條
以強暴、脅迫或其他非法之方法為下列行為之一者，處五年以下有期徒刑：
一、妨害他人競選或使他人放棄競選。
二、妨害他人為罷免案之提議、連署或使他人為罷免案之提議、連署。
前項之未遂犯罰之。
