Regulations for Awarding Professional Medals by the Ministry of the Interior Article 2
The Ministry's Professional Medals are classified into two types: the Interior Affairs Professional Medal and the Conscription Affairs Professional Medal.The awarding of the Interior Affairs Professional Medal is limited to individuals who have made meritorious contributions to civil affairs, household registration affairs, social affairs, land administration affairs, construction, police administration, firefighting, entry and exit control and immigration, air service, and other matters related to interior affairs.The awarding of the Conscription Affairs Professional Medal is limited to individuals who have made meritorious contributions to conscription-related affairs.

內政專業獎章之頒給，以對民政、戶政、社政、地政、營建、警政、消防、入出國及移民、空中勤務及其他有關內政業務有功之人員為範圍。
役政專業獎章之頒給，以對役政業務有功之人員為範圍。
